My Story
I enjoy anything adventurous or outdoors, but I'd like to go into medicine so obviously academics come first. I'm also really active on campus. Among other things, I'm president of AED and a T.A. in the Chemistry Department. Of course, being active in Honors is one of the most important things I do.
Research
I enjoy spending time in the genetics lab and researching the effects of genes on mitochondrial health. I hope to one day do medical research so the exposure I'm getting now is really exciting. I've already been to a few conferences and I hope to attend a couple more in the coming year.
Scuba Diving
Diving is something I don't always do, but I always enjoy doing. My dream is to one day dive in the Great Barrier Reef and of the coast of Belize.
Mountain Biking
Like I said, anything outdoors is fun. These activities can range from biking to climbing. Biking is one of those activities that real challenges and pushes me to keep going.
Traveling
I always in the mood to travel. Whether its somewhere near or far, I'm always down for an adventure. I hope to one day visit Venice and Pompeii, but that trip is currently being planned.
