My Story
I live in Haymarket, Virginia with my family and my African Gray parrot. I am known for being a caring and responsible person as well as an effective leader. I have been able to balance rigorous courses with an active social life and a dedication to involvement within my church and my community.
Mission Work, Volunteering and Service
Every summer and throughout the year I go on several mission trips with my youth group. I love serving others in my community and ones a little farther from home too.
Church
I began going to church with my brother when I was in the sixth grade. Now I am the chair of my youth council, a member of a committee that coordinates children's events, a mentor to younger youth, and a member of my church choir.
Taekwondo
Taekwondo is my passion. It has enabled me to discover many of my gifts and is responsible for making me who I am today. I had the opportunity to compete nationally, perform at events with hundreds of people, and eventually work at my taekwondo school!
