I asked for a dog as a Christmas present when I was in college. My parents didn't think I was ready for one. I set out to prove them wrong. I adopted Hallie, and it was love at first sight. I take her with me ever where she is allowed to go.

I like to spend a little bit of quite reflection time each day. It helps me to process things that are on my mind.

I don't consider myself a runner. I am not very good and wouldn't even say I enjoy it. What I do like about running is pushing my limits. I love the feeling of completing a distance, or beating a time that I didn't think would be possible.

I watch more Netflix than I care to admit. I enjoy feel good shows and an occasional documentary. Most of the time its running in the background while I'm grading.

If I had more time I would read for fun everyday. I love getting lost in a good love story or swept away by a great adventure. I have also started reading more non fiction, I love learning new things.
