Samanta

My name is Samanta. I live in Mexico City. My only dreams has always been to study and live in New York City. Over the years, I developed a passion for learning. I stood out in science and found chemistry the most interesting. My dedication and passion are going to help me accomplish my dreams.

My grandmother inherited me the love for literature. I first started reading teen novels, but then I discovered the classics. I formed a book club with my closest friends: each of us buy three books, read them and passed them. It is much cheaper, interesting and funnier to read together!

Being the daughter of to Graphic Designers, Art runs in my blood. I was taught as a child how to work with Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator. I took an internship to learn more about cinematography and learned to edit with iMovie and After Effects. I also have technical diploma in Graphic Design.

I like to think that i was born with the wanderlust gene. Visiting new places, knowing different cultures, learning new languages, eating diverse food and living new experiences is the most exciting activity a human can do. Whenever I have the chance, I drop everything and hop on a plane.

A few years ago, I made a trip with a volunteering group to a village where we got the opportunity to play with the kids, organize health campaigns and build a school. I do community service as often as I can; volunteering in an orphanage girls house or in hospitals or helping in a comunal diner.

I am a really active person. Every weekend I exercise with my family; downhill, jogging, cross fit, cycling, swiming, or something else. On holidays we practice extreme sports, such as, skiing, scuba diving, rafting, etc. I have participated in triathlons and marathons.
