My Story

Hola! I'm Sabrina. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and now live in North Carolina. I am half Colombian and half Cuban. I seek time for new adventures and have a passion for helping others in need. Below you will find moments that have shaped me. Cheers! ✿

Missionary Leader - Medellin, Colombia

Every year I travel to Medellin, Colombia, alongside with students and adults to work. We spread the Gospel, help the less fortunate, fund schools in urban areas, donate clothes, rebuilding local “viviendas” farm villages, give groceries to needy families, teach local children. Our goal is to serve.

Dog Lover

Furry pets are good friends to have. They are loving, fun to watch and play with. I have two poodles and one German Sheppard. They are very smart and understand Spanish and English. I enjoy taking them on hikes and running with them too!

Art

Art has really allowed me to find beauty within things that are hard to define. When I am stressed or feeling down I get my notebook out and find tranquility. My mind immediately puts a pause to everything else evolving in life just to sit and focus on what is present.

Samaritans Feet (Community Service)

Every year Living Word Church, hosts an event in which local needy students and families come by to pick up new school supplies, fresh pair of shoes, have haircuts and eat lunch all for free. I am blessed to be a part of this to serve our community.

Ignite Youth Group

I just can't seem to put into words how important these people are to me and the community. God blessed me with having the opportunity to take part in this beautiful youth group since the beginning of high school. God has big plans for all of us, this is only the beginning!

Lincoln Charter - After School Care Teacher

Taking care of kids allowed me to have a perspective and insight of what I would eventually have to deal with in the near future. Overall I loved them to death and will miss them greatly. These kids have allowed me to improve on the smallest life lessons just by watching their everyday actions.
