My Story
I was born and raised in Nicaragua. When I was 16 years old, I had the biggest challenge of my life. I had an open heart surgery. This experience taught me to value how blessed I am. And here I am ready for new ones.
Volunteer Work
I have always kept myself active outside the school environment by participating in community work. For the past 4 years, I have been volunteering at Teleton Nicaragua, American Nicaraguan Foundation, Operation Smile, She’s The First, Aproquen Nicaragua and etc.
Work Experience
I know it’s a cliché to say that I’ve always known what I want to do with my life, but it happens to be true. I want to be a business manager. And by working in my sister’s company, providing customer service, I confirmed that I definitely want to create my own company in the future.
Soccer
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a soccer lover. When I first played soccer, I was thinking like wow, this is a lot more tricky than I thought it would be. There are so many new things I learn on the field every day. That’s what makes soccer the greatest and most energetic sport ever for me.
Traveling
Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer (Anonymous). Being in different countries with different perspectives is a unique opportunity to open my worldview. I’m looking forward to meeting people around the world that will give me access to so many different cultures.
Kerigma
This year, I have been focusing on delivering talks to underprivileged children about the Catholic faith. We plan to make this journey the more attractive as possible for the kids to enjoy and learn at the same time. Therefore, I am in charge of the Public Relations department of Kerigma.
