John Ivarone

I am a ninth grade student at North Broward Preparatory School. I previously lived in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. I moved in the summer going into 7th grade and started my life over in Florida. I am passionate about Debate, Golf, and Student Government and I have vigorously pursued these activities.

I switched from a lifetime of baseball to golf last year when I participated on the middle school team. I immediately took a great liking to golf, more so than baseball and therefore this year in ninth grade I continued playing golf on the high school team.

I was Vice President in eighth grade and President of NJHS. I have continued Student Government by participating as a legislator in my ninth grade year. I have always been interested and passionate about Student Government and I believe I have exemplified through my numerous roles of service.

I have been an avid debater since I first attended North Broward Preparatory School in seventh grade. I first began participating in Public Forum Debate and I have continued this trend throughout high school.
