My Story

I'm not very complicated. The most important things in life are not either: be happy and be thankful, work hard, never ever give up, and appreciate all our differences. Pretty outside is nice, but pretty inside is a true friend. Audrey Hepburn got it when she said, "happy girls are the prettiest!"

Kappa Kappa Gamma

I am apart of a National Panhellenic Sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, at the University of Georgia. I joined my freshman year, and was initiated October 2016. I was elected to the Junior Panhellenic Council Fall 2016 and now serve on Chapter Council for the 2017 year.

Free The Girls UGA

Free The Girls is a non-profit organization that works to address the needs of women in developing countries who have been rescued from sex trafficking. We do so by providing the women with the skills and resources needed to become a businesswoman in their city.

UGA Miracle

UGA Miracle is a student-run philanthropic organization that benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. We host several events annually to engage both the campus and community in our cause, as well as interact with the Miracles families and hospitals.

UGA HEROs

HEROs is the only organization in the state of Georgia that exists to provide quality-of-life care to kids infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. UGA HEROs strives to improve the quality of life for the 12,000 kids in Georgia affected by HIV/AIDS by raising money and combating the stigma of this disease.

UGA Student Food Pantry

I am currently a weekly volunteer for the student run Food Pantry. The UGA Student Food Pantry provides a variety of non-perishable items to address the troubling situation of student hunger. We serve an average of 100 students per day and no one is ever asked to provide proof of need.

Fashion Club

As the founder and president of the FIDM Fashion Club at my high school, with an average weekly attendance of thirty, I am responsible for planning and leading all meetings. Fashion Club began meeting January 2014 and has continued on without me now that I have graduated.

President of Church Youth Group (2015, 2016)

Georgia Girls State 2015

I was selected to attend Georgia Girls State and was elected County Commissioner for my county. It was great to meet girls from all across Georgia and learn more about our government!
