My Story
The college and greater community of Beloit offer a variety of unique spaces for students. Get involved in classes, clubs, athletics, performing arts, community service, or study abroad! Over the past three years, Beloit has become my second home!
Semester Abroad- New Zealand
I spent a semester studying in the south island of New Zealand! I completed research on freshwater parasites and explored the incredible landscapes (volcanoes, sea caves, fjords) all throughout the country. My favorite class was a field course in Geology where we studied active volcanic sites!
Avid boater- Beloit College Boating Club
I love being out on the water! One of my favorite parts about Beloit is being right next to the rock river. I have been a part of the college's Boating Club since freshmen year, giving me access to kayaks, canoes, and sail boats. No experience required!
Freshwater Biologist- Research and Courses
Is it really 'work' if you're enjoying yourself? Between labs, internships, and studying abroad, I've researched everything from parasites to plants!
