My Story
My story? Well, I am both a son and a brother, a politician and a servant leader, I am me. What my story consists of, are experiences driven by passion that have created great opportunities. I have a passion for advocacy in the education sector but my true joy comes from interactions with students.
President, Morehouse College SGA
I have the opportunity to serve as the 85th SGA President of Morehouse College. I stand on the shoulders of Great Men such as; Dr. King, Spike Lee, Sam Jackson, Sec. Jeh Johnson, Dr.Paul Judge, Julian Bond and so many more who have created a space to be impactful as a true Morehouse Man!
Chief of Staff, Morehouse College SGA
I've been involved in school politics every since I've been enrolled at Morehouse. I think I just have a natural urge for communal politics, and they seem to like my ideas. Now I'm the Chief of Staff to the SGA President and I've done some cool things. My favorite has to be the March on Washington!
Education Chair, NAACP E-Board
I've been able to take skills learned from my past two internships at DCPS and US Dept. of ED, and be able to truly impact the community. My most humbling experience was having college students write letters to HS seniors supporting their journey to pursue higher education(Project Good Luck).
Urban Education Leadership Internship Program
As a UELIP,I was given the opportunity to work on the Empowering Males of Color Initiative. In this space I was given the platform to be innovative supporting black and brown boys in DC. As a product of the DCPS system, this intern experience meant so much to me; in return I made sure to give back!
