Hood College and the downtown Frederick area is such a beautiful place. Our students get such a cozy community to call home for 4 years. It's a great place to grow, learn, and have fun! Walk in any direction and you will find historic buildings, charming shops and parks, and friendly faces.

I have a passion for photography! I've always loved to take pictures, but in the last year I've stepped up my game. I upgraded my equipment and began taking online courses to help sharpen my skills. It helps that I have some pretty cute models! That's my son Owen, and my husband Chad.

I decided last year I was going to read the Harry Potter series. At that point I hadn't read any of the books or seen any of the movies. I am now on book 4. Once I finish a book, I watch the movie (and compare it to the book the whole time...out loud...for all the other watchers to hear).

"It'll be fun," he said. "An adventure." Around 4 years ago my husband and I bought a house that needed A LOT of work. We decided to be DIYers. We have officially renovated every inch, with the exception of the basement (our final project). It looks great now! But never will we do this again.

I have to give my best girl a shout out! Hannah is a rescue dog, and she's absolutely wonderful. She's a great companion, watch dog, walking buddy, and vacuum cleaner. Her and her little human brother occasionally get a long, as shown in the video clip. Having snacks helps.
