Jay Ayer

I'm a sophomore Communications Major. I am an avid writer and a member of the Kugelman Honors Program at UWF. After graduating I plan to work in either the film industry or advertising. I like interacting with and meeting new people, and I have had the opportunity to do so during my time at UWF.

As a member of the Kugelman Honors Program, I have had the opportunity to serve my community and learn new things from other members. Being in Honors Council has also allowed me to have a freshman experience like no other because the program is very unique and helpful to incoming students.

I am the editor in chief for UWF Infinite Wisdom. My job is to edit, publish, write, and keep track of articles for the site. We publish the collective views of anyone in the Kugelman Honors Program because everyone has a voice that needs to be heard, and we all benefit from the wisdom we share.

In high school, I was I member of the National Honors Society. I had the opportunity to perform community service for both my school and the city of Pensacola, along with making connection that help me to this day.

I was a member of my high school's NJROTC program for four years. Along with becoming the Weapon's officer and being Captain of the Air Rifle team, I learned the value of leadership and cooperation in relation to success.

Through several organizations, including NJROTC, National Honors Society, and the Kugelman Honors Program, I have been able work work with people in my community to benefit the city of Pensacola as a whole. I enjoy restoration and cleanup service the best because each has an immediately seen effect.

I frequently sit down in front my my computer to write. I often write short stories, and have been working on larger works for a few years now. I have also won some awards for my writing skills. I hope to have a career that will allow me to put my creative writing skills to good use.
