Personality

I'm introverted by nature but once you get to know me I may talk your ear off. I love talking to people about their passions and where they want to go in life. I tend to be an authentic and servant style leader who will always be here for my mentees at any time and for any reason.

Honors Involvement

Research - What I want to do post-grad

I spent my last year doing a federal work study through the OUR Works! program on campus with Dr. Royappa in the chemistry department and worked this summer with Dr. Caffrey in environmental science on a SURP with water/air quality that is leading to my thesis research.

RHA/NRHH/Housing

At UWF, I've branched out and have fallen in love with housing. So far, I have served as the president of the Residence Hall Association, president of the National Residence Hall Honorary, a summer Hospitality Assistant, and as a Peer Academic Leader in the STEM LLC of Presidents Hall.

Swimming

I was a competitive swimmer from the age of 6. I swam for the UWF team for a year before a long-term shoulder injury put me out of commission. This has taught me a lot about time management and how to balance multiple commitments. I have also worked as a volunteer coach for age group swimmers.

Sailing

Sailing is an activity that I'm very new to but absolutely love! A friend and fellow honors student rebooted the UWF sailing club in spring 2017 and I couldn't be more grateful that she did.
