Emma Kelley

My friends and family (and pets!) are the most important things in my life. Although I consider myself to be a bit of an introvert, I love people. I have always been a sensitive person, giving me my passion for human/animal rights, psychology, sociology, helping others, and meeting new people.

I have a strong passion for travel. I love experiencing different cultures first-hand, meeting new people, and exploring unknown places. I am so grateful for my past travel opportunities, and plan to take more every chance I get.

The performing arts have a major impact on my life, and have transformed me from a shy, meek child to an outgoing teenager who doesn't know when to stop talking. The performing arts have given me the chance to share my love of music and theater with others, and strengthen my confidence.

A few months ago, I joined the youth group at St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Since then, I have gone on weekend trips, given a testimony, attended many services and dinners, completed volunteer work, and made amazing friends.

I have always had an artistic side to me. For as long I can remember, I have loved visual arts. I've done everything from art camps to family crafts. Art has always been an outlet for me to express my emotions, as well as clear my mind from everything going on.
