My Story
Oklahoma City University is a liberal arts university located in the heart of Oklahoma City. We are a diverse community of academic achievers, big thinkers, independent spirits, and dedicated artists. OCU has been my home since 2008 and I have loved my experiences as a two-time grad and an employee.
My Family
My husband, Kevin, and I met at OCU as students in the School of Music. We've been married since November 2015 and actually had our ceremony in the chapel on campus. We've had our golden retriever, Theodore, since 2012 who loves to play in our yard and cuddle! We also love OKC Thunder Basketball!
My Travel and Exploring
In no particular order, when we travel, we love to explore, see musicals and operas, visit museums, fly-fish, bay-fish, see Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood live, anything Harry Potter (I'm a Hufflepuff!), visit zoos, eat good food (especially pie and cupcakes), and mainly have fun together!
My United Methodist Connection
I first visited OCU because of K-Chen and because I grew up in a UMC. I love that campus holds the tradition of open hands, open hearts, open doors, and is involved in Interfaith works as well. I serve as a Worship Leader at VUMC and have had countless opportunities because of this connection.
