My Story
What does the Office of First Year Experience at Trinity Christian College do? Well, we are not only planning the events that coincide with your first class at Trinity, we are busy planning follow-up activities throughout the year to build on what you learn in your first five days on campus!
What else do I do at Trinity?
I first started working here as the Administrative Assistant in Athletics. I may not be very athletic myself, but I fully support the Trolls! My attempts at being athletic involve biking and running and camping. Currently, I also work for the Office of Vocation and Career Development at Trinity.
What I did before Trinity...
Before Trinity, I was a high school English and Drama teacher. One of my first and greatest loves is live theatre. I have directed 26 plays and musicals in my career, plus I regularly usher at both the Court Theatre and Provision Theater in Chicago. Chicago has amazing theatre opportunities!
What I do outside of Trinity...
Outside of work, I love to bake, travel, and do the flowers for weddings (or proms!). I've done about 10 weddings now, for friends and former students. I have also chaperoned high school trips to Spain and Germany, which is the absolute best way to travel! Study Abroad while you are in college!
Where I come from...
Trinity students come from all over the country -- like me! I've lived in Michigan, New Mexico, Iowa, Wisconsin, Florida, Indiana, and Illinois. I'd love to hear your story about where you came from and what brought you to Palos Heights, Illinois!
