Emanuel Chacon

Cabrini College is known for its vibrant, passionate, and community oriented atmosphere. Although we are a small school we provide BIG TIME opportunities for our students! Located just 30 minutes west of Center City Philadelphia there is plenty to do and experience as a CAVALIER!

I have been training in Capoeira since the age of 14. Heavily influenced by old martial art films, culture, and art; I found freedom of expression in Capoeira. I currently teach in Delaware and have conducted workshops for colleges, universities, and youth groups in the states of PA, IN, DE, and NY.

I began taking dance seriously in 2011 when one of my fraternity brothers gave me the opportunity to perform at a National show in NYC. Since then, I continuously aim to grow, learn, and positively impact people through this platform . I have danced for projects in Philadelphia, New York, and LA.

Fraternity life played a big role in my development as a community oriented leader and activist. I gained a tremendous amount of insight on successful event planning, project management, service, higher ed., and networking. As an alumni I now serve on our Regional Board.
