Student Media
My Story
I practically live at school! Attending various conferences, studying for AP classes, leading various clubs, tutoring my peers, and volunteering, I am always busy! My parents have always been behind me and they are my main support system. I also love to hang out with friends and family.
Technology Student Association
Technology Student Association is a club that integrates STEM careers with competitions. I served as the SC State Secretary. I ran for National Secretary and got 2nd. I placed in the top 15 for extemporaneous speech nationally and first state-wide in 2016. I currently serve as chapter president.
Palmetto Boys State
Palmetto Boys State is a laboratory of government. Citizens are guys between their junior and senior year who are then put into cities, counties, and political parties. I served as my city's representative for the party platform committee where we decided what our party believed in.
Honor Societies
I am a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Social Studies, Science, Math, and English Honor Societies. I placed 3rd in The Science Competition at SC BETA in the Underclassman division in 2015 and 1st Place in the Upperclassman division in 2016.
Boy Scouts
After 5th grade, I joined the Boy Scouts of America! Scouting has taken me to National Conferences in West Virginia, Summer Camp in Virginia, and even serving on Summer Camp Staff in 2015. I earned the rank of Eagle Scout on September 15th, 2016.
FBI's Future Agents in Training Program
I got to attend the FBI's Future Agents in Training program this past summer in Quantico, VA. These pictures are from our day at the explosives range and at the awards ceremony.
Church
I have been involved at church ever since I can remember. I am now giving back to my church through leading Sunday School stations, being a senior mentor by leading weekly breakfasts, and by helping in worship services. I have also participated in Mission Trips around the world!
Ground Zero
Ground Zero is a ministry to High School students that provides them a positive, safe environment. I serve on our coffee shop team. I also get to write devotions for Ground Zero.
