My Story
I could ramble about my story for days, but hopefully I can tell big points in 208 characters. Now 186.
1: I had scoliosis surgery in fourth grade
2: I teach Sunday School and dance at church
3. Band, band, and more band
4. I live in a minority single parent home
This is Ariauna J. in a nutshell!!!
Marching Band
Being apart of the 'Pride of the East Marching Band', has truly made me a better person, because being in the largest organization at school makes me run into different walks of life. My junior year I was spirit captain and my senior year I became clarinet section leader.
Yearbook
My love for yearbook started in my sophomore year when I first joined the yearbook committee. I was the scared rookie that sat in the corner and worked on sports pages all day and kept to myself. I worked hard that year and became an editor my sophomore year, which really pushed my love for media.
Chi Zeta Omega: Alpha Kappa Alpha Pearls and Ivy
Pearls and Ivy is an organization founded by the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority alumni in Collin County. The program teaches young African American women how to be strong leaders and professional in the workplace. This program also leads high school seniors into a debutante program.
Heaven's Journey Fellowship Church
HJFC is where my journey with Christ blossomed. At my church I sing soprano in the mass choir, sing soprano and alto in the praise team, praise dance, choreograph praise dances, teach sunday school, and teach at Vacation Bible School (My favorite thing in the world).
Tricky Fish!
I currently work at a restaurant called Tricky Fish and I love it! I love my Tricky Fish family and the people who work here are my best friends, aunts, new siblings, and parents.
Selfie Queen
I have over 3000 selfies on my phone. Nuff said.
