Anthony Lorson

I'm a small town kid from rural Pennsylvania who doesn't quite like to be pigeonholed into any one category. I'm a traveler, writer, athlete, and scientist with an entrepreneurial spirit. Take a look at my ZeeMee and see if you can figure me out... I'm not even sure I've figured myself out yet!

Being an exchange student was one of the best experiences I've ever had. From learning a new language to breaking down cultural barriers, I did so much during my year abroad. All of this was awesome but the most important part of my exchange was the relationships I formed with the people I met.

Ever since the 1st grade, I've been a creative writer. It is deeply a part of who I am and is the reason I am pursuing a career that heavily involves writing.

I love growing things from a minuscule seed into a flourishing plant full of life. I have my own garden in which I grow enough tomatoes to make my own homemade spaghetti sauce(literally the best spaghetti sauce you will ever taste if I may say so myself)

The PA governor's school for the sciences is one of the most competitive and rigorous academic summer camps in the nation. I felt extremely honored to have been selected for it. To me, governor's school was an opportunity to expand my academic horizons and cultivate long-lasting friendships.

Ever since the seventh grade, I have been obsessed with long distance running. I've run many races, including 3 half marathons! I also ran for my high school cross country team.

School spirit has always run thickly in my blood. So, when I was elected VP of my graduating class, I was ecstatic. I threw myself into the planning/execution of many major school events, from leading the student section to organizing our homecoming bonfire and the girls powderpuff football game.
