My Story

Hey hey! I'm Alicia. My parents moved from Korea to settle down in the rainy city of Seattle, where I was raised to speak both Korean and English. Collaborating with others and making fun memories have always been one, no matter the project or event. Fun fact: 14.8% of Korea has the last name "Lee."

Future Business Leaders of America

With my development from freshman year to senior year as President, I've grown a lot through FBLA. From career-oriented collaborative and business conferences, I've come to realize that there's a lot more value in presenting, networking, and ultimately building yourself as a person.

Volunteering

My participation in National Honors Society and Evergreen Hospital has made volunteering an integrated part of my week. Service and interacting with the community is an absolute joy, especially with best friends around. Run into me on Thursdays 3-6:30 at the Evergreen Hospital gift shop! :)

Science National Honors Society

As Vice President of the Science National Honors Society, I've not only been able to explore my interests in the STEM fields through labs and dissections but also been able to use this knowledge to give back to the community by hosting science fairs for elementary school students.

Cello

Although my 8-year-old self felt burdened by the responsibility of lugging a cello around, this instrument has been with me through more than half of my life. From first concert nerves to last concert nostalgia, cello is indefinitely an expression of emotions; an artistry I collect only with myself.

Leadership

I was fortunate enough to attend Mt. Olympus Leadership Camp, where I met hundreds of leaders from other schools. The people I met, lessons I learned, and experiences I shared were unforgettable and I can only hope to recreate this atmosphere through both my leadership positions and everyday life.
