My Story

Ah-lay-lee. That's how my name is pronounced. Half-Filipino, half-Chinese. Earned my Business Degree from the oldest existing university in Asia (older than Harvard). Self-confessed foodie and a wanderlust. In 2011, I married my college sweetheart and moved to the Bay Area.

Community Events and Outreach

Coordinating events is something I enjoy doing. I'm involved in putting together the Farmers' Market and Art & Wine Faire in San Carlos. It's a fun and engaging event for the community. Just recently, I'm excited to join the team who runs the weekly Themed Events and Farmers' Market at Facebook.

Fitness as a Lifestyle

Strong is beautiful. I go to the gym at least 5 times a week, I take different classes like spin, cross-training and boot camp . In 2013, I joined Nike's Half Marathon in support of the Lymphoma Society. Most recently, I got to test my limits when I finished Rugged Maniac, a 25 obstacle mud race.

AA Adventures

I love to travel, not only because its fun, but also because I get so much inspiration from it. Where to go? What to do? My travel experiences helps me plan our next office event.

Memoirs of a Foodie

I love to eat. I'm the Quality Food Specialist in our office, a role that I embraced wholeheartedly. Being a foodie came in handy specially when we do office luncheons or when I order catering for the entire team.
