My name is Abel Perez. I like to play soccer with my friends and family. I also play fifa and I'm pretty good at it too. I'm Mexican American. Family means a lot to me. I think of some friends as family. My favorite soccer teams are Real Madrid and Mexico and Chivas

I am determined to become an engineer in the future. This shows positive self concept because I want to become something when I grow up and also because I am looking at math problems I need to know for this career. This will help me in college because I wont struggle as much as I originally would.

my goal is to be able to play soccer like my 2 idols, Ronaldo and Kaka. I want to have Kaka's vision and passing and Ronaldo's shooting and skills. I want to achieve this by the time I start college. I'll have to practice my passing and shooting. Setting goals helps me achieve future goals.

I believe I have shown realistic self appraisal because I can recognize my mistakes. I have recognized that I need to be more careful on where I shoot my soccer ball because I break the fence and get in trouble. This'll help me in college because I will be able to see my mistakes and not repeat them

I believe I have been a leader. Over the summer I was the leader in planning a "sleepover" at my cousins house.I showed the qualities of a good leader by planning and making things happen. Being a leader can help in college by me not following others but me making my decisions.

I am part of the fifa and Mexican community. The fifa community gives me entertainment and i give it my fifa skills. I am Mexican American and so I'm part of this community. This community gives me culture from Mexico. I consider myself more Mexican. Communities help by giving us support.

when I was in 8th grade I was having a tough time in math. I chose to go to my uncle and aunt for help. They are always there when I need help. Having a strong support person helps in college because they can support and teach you new things

My non traditional knowledge is playing soccer. I learned to play this when I was around 4 or 5. I learned to play by watching professionals play and by practicing. Now I play every position. Having non traditional knowledge helps me in college because it'll be easier to find people I fit in with.

I have shown positive self concept because I feel confident about graduating from high school. My artifact is my grades because I'm keeping them up to graduate. This can help me in college because I'll have the mentality to have good grades. It's going to get me to college with a high GPA.

I have shown realistic self appraisal by recognizing which classes I need help in. My grades helped me make this decision. I pay more attention in classes and ask more questions. This can help me in college because I'll be able to see what I need help in.

I believe I have shown leadership. In algebra class i help out my table mates when they need help. My artifact is my notes from algebra where I explained something to my peer. Leadership can help me in college because I won't have to rely on others but I'll be able to help others.
